Turkish chef Nusr-et Gokce, popularly known as Salt Bae, has been barred from attending the US Open Cup final, the official Twitter handle of the American football tournament said in a tweet.
The decision comes after the chef’s antics at the FIFA World Cup 2022 final left football fans across the world angry.
Gokce joined Argentina players and their families on the field at the Lusail Stadium during the FIFA World Cup win celebrations. He even grabbed the FIFA trophy and was seen posing with it.
